    Position: Therapist

    Responsibilities:

    Conducting client assessments and creating personalized treatment plans

    Providing evidence-based therapy and counseling services

    Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of therapy

    Qualifications:

    Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field

    State licensure or candidate as a therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LAC)

    Proven experience in delivering effective therapy and counseling

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

We are looking for out-going, self directed individuals with a desire to turn lives around. We are hiring for part-time Behavioral Coaches.

    Position summary and general purpose: Provide Coaching services to youth and families.

    Role qualifications:

    1. Degree in the human service field.

    2. 2 years experience working with youth and families in a community setting.

    3. Knowledge of community resources and ability to connect youth and families with these resources.

    4. Knowledge of life skills, coping skills and interpersonal skills development and ability to work with children, youth and families with the goal of self-sufficiency and preserving placement in both home and identified school.

    5. Self-directed work style and ability to collaborate with CCS team, agency administrators, and other personnel to support the mission and activities of Turning Point.

    6. Demonstrated ability to show initiative in managing job responsibilities, communicating job performance ideas and concerns to supervisor, and seeking resources to maintain and build areas of expertise.

    7. Demonstrated ability to serve as a representative of the agency, and thus converse professionally and knowledgeably with clients, their families, referral agents, community resource representatives, local care providers, employers and the public at large.

    8. Flexibility in work hours to accommodate program needs; may include evening and weekend hours.

    9. Minimum of 21 years of age.

    10. Provide bilingual behavior coaching and in-school drug and alcohol education

    Position responsibilities:

    1. Interface extensively with communities to learn and build resources for clients.

    -Research and develop a broad spectrum of connections and resources to support youth and families.

    - Develop and maintain professional relationships within the community related to career and job opportunities for clients.

    - Research and develop connections and resources for youth and families related to educational opportunities, financial aid, vocational schools, housing and employment.

    - Research and develop connections and resources for health care needs, child care, recreational activities, mentoring services, mental health services, substance abuse services, religious services, cultural activities, and resources to areas identified by clients’ individual treatment teams.

    2. Interface with staff, clients, and referral agents to serve the clients.

    - Meet with clients consistently as per referral.

    -Engaging clients in individualized activities that address the identified goals.

    - Attend staffing on clients.

    -Submit required monthly reports to Supervisor and referral agents.

    - Track and submit accurate billing information.

    - Communicate any areas of concern with Supervisor and referral agents.

    - Dialogue with other Coaches and service providers.

    - Attend trainings to improve job knowledge.

    Professional Relationships and Representation:

    1. Represent the agency, in word and action, in a manner that conveys professionalism, consensus of department and treatment team, support the agency mission and treatment philosophies, and regard for agency policies and procedures.(PPPM-Section 1080 3.d.)

    2. Role model to clients in an appropriate demeanor, appearance, language and communication. (PPPM-Section 1080 1.g.)

    3. Treat with respect the findings, views, and actions of all colleagues, and use appropriate channels to express judgment on these matters. (PPPM-Section 1080 3.c.)

    4. Work within the bounds of professional protocol, in all manner of

    speaking.(PPPM-Section 1080 3.e.)

    Complete other duties as assigned.

    Essential functions:

    1. Work collaboratively with the community, program staff, referral agents, and administrative staff to coordinator and implement services for clients.

    2. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate activities with clients.

    3. Effectively represent the mission and purpose of Turning Point.

    Supervisory responsibilities: No direct reports.

    Physical demands and work environment:

    1. Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds (physical).

    2. Ability to use computerized client database system for documentation and record keeping (visual).

    3. Ability to communicate with clients, families, referral agents and other professionals in person, by telephone and by email (verbal, visual, hearing).

    4. Ability to climb stairs to access clients at all times in the buildings (physical).

    5. Ability to operate a motor vehicle in order to transport clients (physical, visual).

    Pay: starting at 17.00/hour

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Behavioral Coach to join our team and work with youth and families in a community setting. Would you like a flexible work schedule that could be as little as 15 hours per week to 40 hours?

    Responsibilities:

    As a Behavioral Coach, you will play a vital role in helping youth and families develop essential life skills, coping mechanisms, and interpersonal abilities. Your goal will be able to promote self-sufficiency and maintain stability for children, adolescents, and parents within their homes and/or identified schools.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Collaborating with children, youth, and families to identify strengths, needs, and goals.

    Developing and implementing personalized behavior management plans and strategies.

    Providing guidance and support to foster healthy relationships and communication within families.

    Connecting youth and families with appropriate community resources to address their specific needs.

    Collaborating with other professionals, including case workers, educators, and mental health experts.

    Qualifications:

    To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

    A degree in a human service field or working toward (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology).

    Must be 21 years of age.

    Preferred minimum of 2 years experience working directly with youth and families in a community-based setting.

    Strong knowledge of local community resources and the ability to effectively connect youth and families to these resources.

    Proficiency in teaching life skills, coping mechanisms, and interpersonal skills to children, youth, and families.

    Demonstrated ability to create and implement behavior management plans and strategies.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and build trust with clients.

    Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations.

    Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate and thorough documentation.

Turning Point is an approved Colorado Health Service Corps (CHSC) site in both Fort Collins and Greeley due to its location in a substance use treatment shortage area. Clinicians who participate in the CHSC can receive funding to repay educational loans in exchange for their service at Turning Point.
